Pier in Brzeźno

The history of the pier in Brzeźno dates back to the end of the 19th century. The first pier was built in 1893 as a wooden structure used mainly for recreational purposes. In the interwar period, the pier was a popular meeting place, attracting both residents and tourists. During World War II, the pier was destroyed and was rebuilt only in the 1950s. The modern pier, which can be admired today, was reconstructed and opened in 1996, once again becoming a popular place to relax in Gdańsk. Currently, it is not only a tourist attraction, but also a symbol of the city's seaside character, constituting an important element of its landscape.
